Wine ice cream recipe
Everyone loves ice cream . There is no age limit for ice-cream love. A perfect scoop of ice cream in a cup is actually a cup of joy that cool our minds and the same can be said about wine too. But what if instead of a small cup you get a whole large bowl of happiness as there is a new dessert on the menu – the wine ice-cream. This can be very easily prepared at home and we are providing you with a simple recipe which you can try out yourself – the red wine chocolate ice-cream.

INGREDIENTS
A bottle of red wine ( Merlot preferably)
Chocolate ice-cream
2-3 cups of brown sugar
Whipped cream
Cocoa powder
4-egg yolks
Half and half cup of whole milk and skimmed milk
Any kind of berry (for garnishing)

INSTRUCTIONS
Pour the bottle of wine into a large bowl and reduce it into a small amount of slightly thick syrupy liquid by simmering it over low medium heat . Once it is ready set it aside . Now beat four egg yolks in another bowl and then add brown sugar , cocoa powder and whipped cream to the egg yolks and beat it till you get a smooth mixture. Now cook this mixture over medium heat till it fully steams (but make sure that the mixture does not boil) . Now stir the mixture with half and half milk and the reduced wine. Now add chocolate ice-cream to the mixture and leave it in the freezer to set for 2-3 hours. Best served chilled with toppings of your choice.
